Light. Shade or filtered light. Full sun will stress or kill moss.
Moisture. Keep it consistently moist, especially in the first weeks. Mist daily indoors; outdoors, water daily at first and then a few times a week.
pH. Moss prefers acidic conditions, around pH 5–6. Pine needles or peat help keep outdoor beds acidic.

Will it grow in my terrarium?
Yes. Closed terrariums with indirect light and steady humidity are ideal for mood moss.
It arrived dry. Is it alive?
Yes. Revita-Moss ships dormant. Rehydrate it and it softens and regains its colour.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes, in shade with consistent moisture. If moss already grows naturally nearby, your spot is likely a good fit.
Is it the same every time?
It's a natural product, so colour and texture vary, and small bits of organic material are normal.

Moss was dead on arrival. I attempted to follow instruction, seeing there was a teeny amount of green, and I had assumed that live amount would take over. Nope! Continuing to follow instructions, but it remained the same yellow-beige I purchased. I grow 10 year old orchids that I am able to get bloom every year, so I know that this is not an issue with what I did

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While orchids are vascular plants that store resources, mosses are non-vascular and lack true roots, making them far more sensitive to subtle shifts in humidity, light, and water minerals.

I’m happy with everything. I have the moss in my terrariums and I’m not having an issues. There is a nice amount of moss that comes in the packet. I am waiting to see if the moss will spread. Good practice with patience.

This is my favourite moss so far! It’s so soft and fluffy and by far the easiest to maintain of the variants I bought! It’s also already begun spreading, but most importantly, my Mimosa Tree Bonsai has bounced back and is about to grow new sprouts after a fairly aggressive repotting. The moss is really helping the roots in their recovery process!

Great moss for the garden or mossarium but too much earth for bonsai-would definitely hamper drainage.
25.00 for a 6 inch square is a high price point, especially when domestically grown.

Easy to re-hydrate and it’s taken root really well! Saw some growth in only a couple weeks! Will be ordering again

Great Moss that rehydrated well. It also seems to be spreading at a nice pace. You can clearly see all of the new baby growth in the third photo. Would definitely order again.
