I had no idea bendable coir poles even existed, and now I don't think I'll ever use a straight one again.
I used this to support a mature monstera that had grown in several different directions, and the flexibility made all the difference. Instead of forcing the plant into an unnatural shape, I was able to gently curve the pole and guide the vines exactly where I wanted them. The result looks natural, balanced, and much more intentional.
The best part is that once the plant was secured, the pole practically disappeared into the foliage. You notice the beautifully shaped monstera, not the support holding it together.
It's sturdy, easy to install, and far more versatile than traditional poles. If your monstera has a mind of its own or you want a cleaner, more professional-looking result, this is absolutely worth buying.

Thanks for the honest feedback. While a cedar plank is definitely a classic choice for climbing plants, our bendable poles are designed to offer a bit more structural flexibility for shaping.
Because they are flexible, they do rely heavily on being anchored deep into the pot's soil—ideally all the way to the bottom—and packed tightly to get that solid stability. If the base isn't buried deeply enough, it can definitely feel a bit wobbly with heavier plants!

My new favourite plant support I didn't know I needed! It's amazingly sturdy while also being easy to pot and position. My monstera is looking happy and luscious as a result.

It made a great gift. One reason I don’t always rate these purchases is that Etsy requires you to type in at least five words to submit. Highly annoying. Not the seller’s fault, but do better Etsy.

Decent product, impossible to keep consistently damp enough to actually have plants put roots into it. I tried plastic-wrapping and misting a section of it on manufacturer recommendation, but pretty quickly got fungal growth.
I've had healthy plants growing on it for over 6 weeks without good attachment, I think at this point it's fairly clear it's a design flaw to be that thin.
Also, the metal on bottom rusted on one of my poles - poor alloy choice, of course there's gonna be lots of water and wet/dry cycles for this application.
EDIT: new info in response to the response.
Apologies, this review is meant for the moss poles, not coir - I bought several and am growing a couple kinds of pothos and two syngoniums on them. I believe moss poles should hold moisture, I agree my complaint would be less valid of coir. Regarding the rust, it only seems to be happening on one of my rods despite fairly similar watering, so my guess is it's a batch problem with the wires. I don't believe anywhere near this much iron oxide is good for my plants, and it's ugly.

Hey Kasey! Thanks for the review :) This item is not meant to be watered, in fact, coir manila repels water. please try our bendable MOSS pole to hold more moisture for longer. Regarding the rust, this is not actually a bad thing. In fact, its a great thing for plants! Rust = iron oxide. Iron is a crucial element for ALL plant growth. Iron oxide slowly releases iron into the soil and actually helps your plant thrive :)

Hey Lisa, I have tried calling you to try and help provide a better experience and explain: You have to choose the size of the pole. You chose the smallest size and confirmed it by purchasing. Also, there is clear instructions mentioning the tape can be cut to size to use.
When you picked up the phone after I tried to help you mentioned to "give me a break" and proceeded to hang up the phone abruptly. I hope you find happiness somewhere :)
I have 2 specialty cactus that have become enormous and need some controlled support. I just tried out the 42” pole on the Rick rack cactus and I think it works wonderfully! Now I need to tackle my queen of the night cactus. This is a great product that can be used so many ways.

These coir poles are the best! I love that you can shape and bend them to meet the needs of the plant. I also love how slender they are because they blend in rather than overpower the aesthetics of the plant they are supporting.

My Monstera Adansonii loves it's Mossify pole. I should have gotten a longer one though. I guess I need to upgrade soon!
