The idea came to our founder Lucas after creating multiple Bonsai trees at home. In Bonsai, there is a technique to wrap wire around the trunk & branches of a tree to manipulate them into funky positions. We are using the same principle on a larger scale!

Not only did we love our new moss poles (we ordered 2) for our pink princess philodendron and white princess philodendron but the communication between Lucas and I through out the order was superb. Our original shipment got lost in the mail (you could never tell with covid-delays these days), so without hesitation he expedited out a replacement! These bendable moss poles are genius and our plants will definitely benefit!

I’ve had my monstera Peru climbing on this since august! I love that I could bend the pole to match the initial vine and now it’s climbing to match the shape I’ve made for it! I also love that it comes with a sturdy base. Can’t wait to buy another!

My plants and I are much happier after the installation of the moss poles! It took me a long time to find a product I was looking for, and I was so pleased to find a local Canadian company that makes these! The shipping was prompt, the thoughtful and courteous add-on’s really brought a personal touch to the purchase (goal card, etc), and I’m very pleased with the quality and durability of the poles themselves. I could have used 1-2 more pins per pole, but that wasn’t a big deal; I just used some twine when I ran out. Will definitely purchase again from Mossify! <3

CanadaThe Perfect Moss Pole
The large moss pole worked great for my Monstera Deliciosa. The cement base works great to keep the pole supported and the bend-ability allows you to shape your plant/pole in whatever way works best for you & your space. Will definitely be purchasing more moss poles here !

CanadaGreat idea, execution needs work
I really like the idea of the pose-able moss pole, but I did encounter some issues with both the Small and Large sized poles: - The largest sized pole is not very tall at all if you plan to bend or twist it. By the time I had arranged my Raph Tetrasperma on it, there was only about 2" of pole left for it to continue to grow on. This was pretty disappointing, as the larger size is more money and the actual height I was left with after posing was not enough to justify the purchase for me - The large cement anchor at the bottom is great in theory, but will not fit in a smaller pot. You will need to upsize the pot, and for some plants, a larger pot would not be suitable. I took the change of re-potting a new shingle plant into a larger pot, as it needed the pole and I didn't really have any other option - The pins provided to attach the plant are dull at the ends, and as such must be forcefully pushed into the moss pole. This requires some effort, and despite being very very careful and pre-poking the pin in, I still lost about an inch of new growth on the plant that snapped while trying to gently push the pin in. I have since purchased "tidy pins" from a sewing store, and the issue has been resolved completely Customer service and product delivery were excellent, and I am not opposed to purchasing again. I would just love to see some of my suggestions implemented before doing so. Thank you!

I was lucky to score one of these for a pre-launch. My rhaph had outgrown its pole and I cannot thank Mossify enough for this pole! It's the perfect support- hefty without being too bulky, yet easy to install in any planter. I especially love the weighted end which keeps the pole in place-even without rocks! I can't wait to buy more for my monster and pothos plants!
